Privacy Policy

If you fill in the inquiry form, we collect your name and email address, and your phone number, the area you operate in, roughly how many totes you run, how you found us, and any notes, when you choose to give them. The optional fields are optional in practice as well as on the form.

Our hosting keeps ordinary server logs, which include IP addresses and are used to keep the site running and to stop abuse.

That is the entire list. This site takes no payments, has no visitor accounts, and has nothing else to fill in.

To reply to you and to work out what the software would cost for an operation your size. You asked us to, by sending the inquiry.

If you become a customer, we keep it as part of the business record. If you do not, it stays on the list until you ask us to remove it or we clear it out.

We do not sell your details, and we do not share them with other operators.

This site runs no analytics and no advertising trackers. Nobody is following you around the internet on our behalf.

We do not add you to a marketing list because you asked a question. If we ever send a newsletter, you will have to ask for it.

This site sets no cookies for visitors. There is a session cookie for our own staff signing in to the admin, which does nothing on a public page.

The bot check on the inquiry form is Cloudflare Turnstile, which sets a short lived token to confirm you are not automated. It is not used to track you.

Railway hosts this site and its database, so your inquiry is stored on their infrastructure.

Resend sends our email, and therefore handles your email address and the contents of what we send you.

Cloudflare provides our domain and the bot check on the form, and sees the network requests your browser makes to us.

Each of these is a service provider acting on our instructions, not somebody we sell data to.

Inquiries are kept while they are useful, which for somebody who did not become a customer means a couple of years at most. Ask us to delete yours sooner and we will.

Customer records are kept for as long as the account is open, and afterwards only where tax or accounting rules require it.

Email hello@thetoteos.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. There is no form and no account to log into, and we will not make you jump through hoops.

Depending on where you live you may have specific legal rights over your information. We will honor them, and we would have done the same thing anyway.

This site is aimed at people running or starting a business. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect their information.

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. A change that affects what we do with information we already hold gets told to the people it affects.
